Πάρτυ με θέμα Κιβωτός του Νώε - Τα Δωράκια των παιδιών (party favors)

Καλωσήρθατε στο τρίτο post για το πάρτυ με θέμα Κιβωτός του Νώε!

Έχουν προηγηθεί δυο αναρτήσεις, η πρώτη για τις προσκλήσεις και η δεύτερη για την κατασκευή μιας Κιβωτού στο σαλόνι μας!!!

Σε αυτή την τρίτη ανάρτηση θα σας δείξω τα δωράκια που πήραν οι μικροί μας προσκεκλημένοι τόσο στη διάρκεια του πάρτυ όσο και στο τέλος, όταν δηλαδή φεύγανε.

Αρχικά να σας πώ πως πάντα μου άρεσαν τα χάρτινα κουτάκια του Junior των Goody's - είπα λοιπόν να ψάξω να βρώ άν υπάρχουν στην αγορά. Υπάρχουν! Τα βρήκα στο E-pack.gr και συγκεκριμένα εδώ.

Φυσικά μια και το θέμα μας ήταν η Κιβωτός αγόρασα τα χάρτινα κουτάκια με τα ζωάκια!

Τα παραπάνω κουτάκια περιείχαν ενα κουτί με κηρομπογιές, ένα μαντηλάκι για τα χέρια και ενα βιβλίο με χρωμοσελίδες!

Εμείς προσθέσαμε και αυτοκολλητάκια με ζωάκια (2 σε κάθε κουτάκι) και έτσι το κάθε κουτάκι περιείχε τα παρακάτω:

Επίσης, βάλαμε μέσα και το καθιερωμένο thank you note μας:

Η μεγάλη μου αγάπη θέλω να σας πώ πως με βοήθησε πάρα πολύ στο να φτιάξουμε τα δωράκια για τους φίλους της! Στο τέλος τα αραδιάσαμε ωραία ωραία πάνω στον μπουφέ:

Το κάθε παιδάκι έπαιρνε ένα κουτάκι της επιλογής του πρίν φύγει.

Επίσης:

1) Αγόρασα αυτά που κάνουν φούσκες τα παιδιά και έφτιαξα ετικετούλες με την ίδια εικόνα που είχε το προκλητήριο ώστε να ταιριάζουν με το θέμα του πάρτυ μας και έδινα ένα σε κάθε παιδάκι!

2) Αγόρασα απο το Elxis - Doro ρακετούλες ζωάκια - τα παιδιά πάιζαν με αυτές κατα τη διάρκεια του πάρτυ και μετά τις πάιρναν μαζί τους:

3) Απο το ίδιο μέρος πήρα και λούτρινα ζωάκια για τα παιδάκια!

Και έφτιαξα και λουράκια / name tags για το κάθε ζωάκι πάλι με το θέμα της Κιβωτού:

Πάρτυ με θέμα Κιβωτός του Νώε - Μία Κιβωτός στο Σαλόνι μας

Σε συνέχεια του πρώτου post για το πάρτυ με θέμα Κιβωτός του Νώε - Οι Προσκλήσεις - σε αυτό το post θα σας δείξω πώς φτιάξαμε την ολόδική μας κιβωτό!

'Οταν οργάνωνα το πάρτυ είχα "σκάσει" τρόπον τινά να βρώ έναν τρόπο να ενσωματώσω το θέμα της κιβωτού. Στο τέλος αποφάσισα πως θα ήθελα να φτιάξω μια κιβωτό - και όσοι με ξέρουν καλά καταλαβαίνουν πως αφού το αποφάσισα θα έβρισκα και τον τρόπο να το κάνω.

'Ετσι λοιπόν δημιουργήσαμε ενα χώρο που θα μοιάζει με κιβωτός στο σαλόνι μας χρησιμοποιώντας τα παρακάτω:

Βασικά Υλικά για να φτιάξετε μια κιβωτό:

Ξύλα (αναλόγα με τις διαστάσεις που θέλετε). Εγώ τα αγόρασα απο το Leroy Merlin.
Βίδες
Μεντεσέδες (για να κρατάνε τα κομμάτια του ξύλου ενωμένα)
Black & Decker
Καραβόσχοινο (για την ράμπα της κιβωτού)

Επιπρόσθετα/ Διακοσμητικά Υλικά για να φτιάξετε μια κιβωτό:

Χαρτόνι μεγάλο για χειροτεχνίες
Φινιστρίνια (θα βρείτε πολλές εικόνες στο διαδίκτυο) 
Πινέζες (για να στερεώσετε το χαρτόνι) 


& φυσικά χρειάζεστε την αμέριστη δεξιοτεχνία, υπομονή και καλή διάθεση του ξαδέρφου σας (ή όποιον άλλον άντρα τέλος πάντων μπορείτε να επιστρατεύσετε) για να σας βοηθήσει στην κατασκευή (γιατι εγώ όλο θεωρία είμαι)!

Εδώ ο πολυμήχανος (οχι απο άλλη ιστορία είναι αυτό) Γιώργος μας έχει σχεδόν τελειώσει το έργο του. Παρατηρήστε τι όμορφο που φάινεται το καραβόσχοινο και η ράμπα!



Σε περίπτωση που κάποιοι απο τους καλεσμένους μας είχαν αμφιβολία ώς προς την κατασκευή στη μέση του σαλονιού γράψαμε loud & clear -που λένει οι φίλοι μας οι Άγγλοι - πως η κατασκευή είναι η Κιβωτός. Λεπτομέρεια: τα φινιστρίνια!!!

Έπειτα κολλήσαμε αυτοκόλλητα με διάφορα ζωάκια!

Χρειάζεται να πώ πως τα κορίτσια δεν ξεκολούσαν απο την κιβωτό τους??? Χρειάζεται?

Πάρτυ με θέμα "Η Κιβωτός του Νώε" - Οι Προσκλήσεις

Οι κόρες μου έχουν γεννηθεί πολύ κοντά η μία στην άλλη ημερολογιακά: η μία τέλη Φεβρουαρίου και η άλλη μέσα Μαρτίου. Λογικό λοιπόν είναι να κάνουμε μαζί το πάρτυ των γενεθλίων τους.

Προσωπικά πολύ θα μου άρεσε να κάνω ένα ξεχωριστό πάρτυ στην κάθε μια τους αλλά μια και δεν μπορώ να καλώ τους φίλους μας κάθε 15 μέρες έκανα την καρδιά μου πέτρα και το αποδέχτηκα :-( 

Τέλος πάντων. Γεγονός ήταν πως πέρσι ήταν τα πρώτα γενέθλια που οι αγάπες μου θα γιόρταζαν μαζί και έσπασα το κεφάλι μου για να βρω ένα ωραίο αλλά και πρωτότυπο θέμα.

Και το βρήκα: Πάρτυ με θέμα η ΚΙΒΩΤΟΣ ΤΟΥ ΝΩΕ! Ο παραλληλισμός με τα γενέθλια ήταν πως όπως τα ζωάκια μπήκαν στην κιβωτό δύο- δύο έτσι και οι μικρές μου θα γιόρταζαν τα γενεθλιάκια τους μαζί (και οι δυο).   

Επειδή οι φωτογραφίες απο το πάρτυ είναι πάρα πολλές θα χωρίσω αυτή την σειρά των posts σε υποκατηγορίες.

Αυτή είναι η πρώτη υποκατηγορία και αφορά στις Προσκλήσεις!!!

Αρχικά έψαξα στο internet και βρήκα διάφορες εικόνες για "Noah's ark". Διάλεξα αυτή που μου άρεσε πιο πολύ και την έφτιαξα ωστε να μοιάζει με προσκληση. Αρχικά έμοιαζε έτσι:

Έπειτα σκέφτηκα το "κείμενο" της πρόσκλησης ώς εξής:

χαράς και κεφιού για

Η κιβωτός είναι έτοιμη και σας περιμένει.

Η πρόσκληση με το κείμενο:

Επειδή πολλά παιδάκια πιθανόν να μήν γνώριζαν τι ακριβώς έγινε με τον Νώε και την κιβωτό του, αποφάσισα να αγοράσω ενα βιβλιαράκι που λέει την ιστορία και να το στείλω στους γονείς μαζί με την πρόσκληση:

Εσωτερικά το βιβλίο: είχε την ιστορία και σελίδες για να ζωγραφίσουν τα παιδάκια!!!

Επίσης, επειδή η πρόσκληση ήταν τυπωμένη σε απλό χαρτί και ήθελα να είναι λίγο πιό "σκληρή" ώστε να μή τσαλακώνει, αγόρασα χαρτί Α4 σκληρό και αφού χρησιμοποίησα το βιβλίο ώς μέτρο το έκοψα στα 2 και κόλλησα με κόλλα την πρόσκληση επάνω - βγήκε πολύ καλό:

Τέλος, έβαλα την πρόσκληση & το βιβλίο μέσα σε φακέλους Α4 και αφού έφτιαξα και τις σχετικές ετικέτες (για να ταιριάζουν στο θέμα) τα έστειλα!

7 Parenting Lessons from the Snow White Movie - Guest Post

We know the story of Snow White isn’t real, and that we should stop believing in Prince Charming.  But, there are actually 7 parenting lessons we can learn from the original Snow White movie.

1. You’re the Queen, but it’s not about you.

The Queen in Snow White was so wrapped up in herself (“Magic mirror on the wall, who’s the fairest of them all?), that she never had a chance of having a good relationship with Snow White.  The same holds true in the non-fantasy world.  As moms, we should meet our own needs and be sure that we’re healthy so that we can care for our children and family, but if we are so preoccupied with our looks, our interests and our rights, our relationship with our children will suffer.

2. Every child is different.

When Snow White took on the maternal role to the seven dwarfs, she came face-to-face with seven very different personalities.  But like any good mother, she didn’t make them feel bad about who they were, and nurtured them accordingly. 

3. Love is the best motivator.

Parenting experts say that the best motivation for change is the positive kind.  It’s the “catch your child doing something right” philosophy.  Snow White took this approach with Grumpy.  Instead of telling him how terrible his outlook was, she smothered him with love.  Eventually, he returned that love.

4. Let your children dream.

Snow White had some very harsh realities in her life.  Her dream of finding Prince Charming helped her survive.  As moms, we don’t want to perpetuate any unrealistic hopes in our children, but letting them have a dream, and then helping them try to achieve it, is good parenting.  Dashing their dreams right out of the gate is not.

5. A joyful mom is a good leader.

The dwarfs put up with a lot of change when Snow White arrived on the scene.  She rearranged their house, she made them clean behind their ears, she made them eat regular meals.  But they pretty much fell in line because she initiated all of these changes with joy.

6. Whistle while you work.

Running a home and doing your mom duties can be drudgery, if you approach it that way.  But attitude really is everything, so do like Snow White and whistle while you work. 

7. We may never know how much our children love us.

Snow White’s bite of the apple sent her into a magical sleep.  That’s when we saw the dwarfs mourning her and we realized how much they loved her.  In our own lives, we may not get those eulogizing moments, but rest assured that your children do appreciate all you do.

Night and Morning - Ενα ποίημα αφιερωμένο στις μαμάδες

Τυχαία βρήκα το παρακάτω ποίημα και θα ήθελα όλες εμείς οι μαμάδες να το διαβάσουμε και να αναλογιστούμε για λίγο πόσο σημαντικές είμαστε στις ζωές των μικρών μας... Αγόρασε κάποιος γνωστός σας καινούργιο σπίτι και δεν ξέρετε τι να του πάτε? Διαβάστε αυτό!

Κάποιοι φίλοι μας πρόσφατα αγόρασαν το ολόδικό τους σπίτι και εδώ και καιρό έψαχνα να βρώ μια πρωτότυπη ιδέα ως προς το τί δώρο να τους κάνουμε.

Μια και όλα όσα σκεφτόμουν μου φαινόντουσαν (ψιλο)αναμενόμενα, ακολούθησα τη συνήθη πρακτική μου απευθύνθηκα στο φιλαράκι μου το Google. Φυσικά δεν απογοητεύτηκα: κάτω απο την κατηγορία "Traditional Housewarming Gifts" βρήκα πάρα πολλές ιδέες για να φτιάξω το προσωπικό μου δώρο στους φίλους μας.

'Εμαθα λοιπόν πως όταν κάποιος αγόραζε ενα καινούργιο σπίτι η παράδοση ήταν να του δίνουν ψωμί, αλάτι και μια σκούπα(!) ως δώρα για τα καλορίζικα! Φυσικά, το κάθε ένα από αυτά έχει και ένα συμβολισμό (by the way -και στην απίθανη περίπτωση που δεν το έχετε καταλάβει ακόμα- οι συμβολισμοί είναι η αδυναμία μου)!   

Βέβαια παρά το οτι αυτή η παράδοση ακολουθείται εδώ και πάρα πολλά χρόνια, αν στη σημερινή εποχή δώσετε σε κάποιον στα καλά καθούμενα μια σκούπα, μια φραντζόλα ψωμί και 1 αλάτι θα σας κοιτάξει (στην καλύτερη περίπτωση) ψιλοπερίεργα, οπότε και προτείνω να μη τα δώσετε χωρίς να τα συνοδεύετε με την κατάλληλη εξήγηση ως πρός τον συμβολισμό τους. Η παρουσίαση είναι το κλειδί.

Εκτός όμως απο τα βασικά 3 δώρα που προανέφερα υπάρχουν και άλλα πολλά το κάθε ένα με το συμβολισμό του και τη σημασία του.

Θα αγοράσω λοιπόν ένα όμορφο καλάθι και θα βάλω μέσα τα παρακάτω:

1) Μία σκούπα (όσο πιο μικρή γίνεται)

2) Ένα νόμισμα

3) Ένα μπουκάλι κρασί

4) Ένα ξύλινο αντικείμενο

5) Μέλι

6)Κεράκια

7) Μία καρδούλα

8) Ένα ρολόι (τοίχου ή επιτραπέζιο - όχι χειρός)

9) Ψωμί

10)Αλάτι

11) Ένα κόκορα (ψέυτικο εννοείται) ή κάτι που να έχει ένα κόκορα πάνω (π.χ. μια πετσέτα κουζίνας)

12) Ρύζι

Το κάθε ένα απο τα παραπάνω θα συνοδεύεται απο ένα καρτελάκι (gift tag) που θα αναφέρει τον συμβολισμό αλλα και την ευχή μας.

Επειδή είναι λίγο δύσκολο να διαβάσετε τα Gift Tags που σας δείχνω παρακάτω, σας τα παραθέτω:

1) Σκούπα, για να "απομακρύνετε" τη κακή τύχη και τα προβλήματα απο το σπίτι σας.
2) Ένα νόμισμα, για να μπάινουν πάντα χρήματα στο σπίτι σας.

3) Κρασί, με την ευχή να έχετε συνεχώς λόγο για να γιορτάζετε στο σπίτι σας.

4) Ένα ξύλινο αντικείμενο, για να έχετε πάντα σταθερότητα στο σπίτι σας.

5) Μέλι, για να γεμίσει το σπίτι σας γλυκές αναμνήσεις.

6) Κεριά, για να είναι πάντα το σπίτι σας φωτεινό και φιλόξενο.

7) Μια καρδιά, γιατί το σπίτι σας είναι εκεί που είναι η καρδιά μας.

8) Ρολόι, με την ευχή να ευχαριστηθείτε το κάθε λεπτό στο καινούργιο σας σπίτι.

9) Ψωμί, για να μή λείψει ποτέ το φαγητό απο το σπίτι σας. 

10) Αλάτι, για να έχουν "νοστιμάδα" οι μέρες που περνάτε στο σπίτι σας. 

11) Κόκορας, για να κρατάει τους "εισβολείς" και τους κινδύνους μακρυά απο το σπίτι σας.
12) Ρύζι, για να "ριζώσετε" στο νέο σας σπίτι αλλα και ώς σύμβολο γονιμότητας. 

Gift Tags - κάντε δεξί κλίκ στις παρακάτω εικόνες και εκτυπώστε τις σε σκληρό χαρτί. Κόψτε τα περιθώρια και κάντε μια μικρή τρυπούλα για να περάστε μια κορδέλα (ώστε να τοποθετήσετε εύκολα τα καρτελάκια πάνω στα αντικείμενα).

As parents it seems there are 2 things most of us are pretty good at, and that is feeling guilty and judging, both ourselves and others. As a parent blogger and family counselor, there are some things I think we should all be concerned about and some things that we should leave up to the judgment of the individual and their families based on their own values and what it is they see as important to the running of their households.

So for me, these are examples of some of the things that we shouldn’t be so concerned about, the things that within reason the individual has the ability to decide without having to defend or justify:

• Whether you breast or bottle feed your baby
• Whether you co-sleep or control cry
• Whether you have smacked or have success with star charts
• Whether you let your kids watch ‘M’ rated movies or use flash cards from the moment they can see
• Whether you feed them organic, preservative, colour, additive free food or give them take-away twice a week
• Whether you home school or privately educate
• Whether you’re a full time worker or stay at home mum
• Whether you grow your own apples, stew and puree or whether you use tinned fruit
• Whether your kids are outside playing cops and robbers or inside playing computer games.  

Now I certainly have opinions on these such things and I may even suggest making alterations to your choices if it is not doing the following things……which to me are the most important elements of parenting, and the things we should all be concerning ourselves with, both as a society and as fellow parents.  

I do care about:

• Your children being respectful to other people and to you as a parent
• Your children knowing that you are in charge and there are some things that are not negotiable
• Your household, whilst not perfect or stress free, is a place where for the most part there is joy, stability and security
• Your children are valued, loved and cared for unconditionally
• You provide an environment where children are encouraged to be independent, responsible and resilient
• Your children have the boundaries they need and that parents have the skills, and ability to enforce these boundaries on a regular basis.

These are the important aspects of parenting. How you achieve these outcomes can vary greatly, depending on your values, personal principals, ideals and circumstances, but achieving them is not always easy. It is never done perfectly. It is never without its challenges. And sometimes it is not without a little help. Sometimes we all need that extra pair of eyes to help us see more clearly. Being a parent can sometimes render us ‘too close’ to the situation and leave us gasping for a clearer perspective to help us mesh our own personal practicalities with the greater ideals we hold for our children. 

There seems to be a lot of discussion, judging and criticizing of parents and some of the choices they make, when sometimes we need to be reminded that there is more than one way to effectively parent. Whatever choices you make on a daily basis are exactly that, your choices. As long as those choices allow you to make the bigger picture a possibility, then that is all anyone should be concerned with, both as fellow parents and as a society.
